Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Watford Gymnastics Club (“the Club”). By becoming a member or enrolling your child

in our programs, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These are in place to

ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all members, staff, and visitors.

1. Membership Eligibility

● Membership is open to individuals of all ages, experience and some higher levels

● Minors must have a parent or legal guardian complete registration and sign all required

forms.

2. Fees and Payment

● All membership, class, and competition fees must be paid in full by the due date.

● After the due date, your child's place is no longer guaranteed, and late payments will also

incur a late fee of 25%.

● No refunds will be issued for missed classes or voluntary withdrawal. Exceptional

circumstances will be looked at individually and at the Club's discretion. Please see our

refund policy here.

● Monthly subscription fees must be cancelled before the 21st of the month before you wish

to cancel. Eg if you wish to cancel from May, you must send an email before the 21st April.

3. Health and Safety

● Members must inform the Club of any relevant medical conditions.

● All members must follow staff instructions and safety rules at all times.

● Proper gymnastics attire must be worn during all sessions

○ No Jewellery

■ The head coach must be made aware of any jewellery that can not be

removed so safety precautions can be put in place. This may mean you will

need to purchase something to cover the jewellery.

■ New earrings can be covered for the first 6 weeks; following that, they must

be removed.

○ Suitable clothing

■ Preferably a leotard; however, we do understand that this is not comfortable

for everyone. T-shirts worn must be able to be tucked into the bottoms.

Gymnastics is a sport in which you will go upside down, and classes are

● The Club reserves the right to suspend or cancel membership for any behaviour that

endangers safety or disrupts classes.

4. Code of Conduct

● Respectful behaviour is expected from members, parents, and guardians at all times.

● Bullying, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated.

● Members and parents must not interfere with coaching or other Club activities.

5. Attendance and Make-Ups

● Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure consistent progress.

● Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

● Notify the Club in advance if you or your child will miss a session.

6. Photography and Media Consent

● The Club may take photographs or videos for promotional or training purposes.

● If you do not consent, please notify the Club in writing.

7. Liability Waiver

● Gymnastics is a physical activity with inherent risks.

● By enrolling, you acknowledge these risks and agree that the Club and its staff are not

liable for any injury or loss, except in cases of proven negligence.

8. Cancellation of Membership

● Members may cancel their membership with [insert notice period, e.g., 30 days] written

notice.

● The Club reserves the right to cancel or refuse membership at its discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

● The Club may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

● Members will be notified of any significant changes in writing or via email.
